Overview:
As the Director of Community Outreach at iPreach Campus, Dr. Deborah Williams is responsible for building and maintaining meaningful partnerships with local communities, churches, and organizations. Her role is crucial to enhancing the campus’s involvement in community initiatives and fostering collaborative relationships that support the mission of iPreach Campus. Dr. Williams works closely with both internal and external stakeholders to create programs that provide impactful service opportunities for students and promote the institution’s vision of reclaiming and empowering individuals through Christian education.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development: Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with churches, non-profits, and community organizations to create mutually beneficial partnerships that align with iPreach Campus’s mission.
Community Service Programs: Develop and oversee community outreach programs, ensuring they provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful service and apply their Christian education to real-world ministry contexts.
Event Coordination: Organize and manage events and initiatives that promote the campus’s involvement in community development and service, ensuring that outreach efforts are well-coordinated and effective.
Strategic Collaboration: Work with campus leadership to align community outreach efforts with the overall strategic goals of iPreach Campus, contributing to both student growth and broader community impact.
Program Evaluation: Continuously assess the effectiveness of community outreach programs, gathering feedback from partners and participants to make data-driven improvements.
Public Relations and Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between iPreach Campus and the wider community, representing the institution’s values and mission at public events, meetings, and conferences.
Student Engagement: Encourage student participation in community service projects, mentoring them in the practical application of their faith and Christian education through outreach.
Qualifications:
Strong background in community outreach, Christian ministry, and program development.
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with diverse community organizations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize both students and community members.
Commitment to the mission and values of iPreach Campus, particularly in the areas of service and Christian discipleship.
Experience in planning, organizing, and evaluating community programs or events.
